Thimphu Thromde extends our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and cooperation during the 2-day call-off for waste collection, which took place on July 31st and August 1st. And moreover, Thimphu Thromde sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience that may have occurred during this period.

Furthermore, Thimphu Thromde is delighted to announce the revised waste collection schedule. The collection frequency has been increased to four times a week (twice for dry and twice for wet) in all zones, except for Norzin Lam & Chang Lam, where it will be five times a week (Thrice for dry and twice for wet). We have two private entities catering to the waste collection services for Thromde, M/s. Greener Way for North Zone and M/s. Green Bhutan Services for South Zone.

We kindly request all residents adhere to the new waste collection schedule to facilitate efficient waste collection and disposal. Together, let us continue to make our city a better place to live
