With the deadline for the Four Lane Road nearing, almost 90% of the blacktopping work has been completed. We are very grateful to our Thromde workforce who have been working at the site day and night along with our surveyors and engineers to ensure we meet the deadline. We are also thankful to the traffic police who have been of immense help in helping us divert and control the traffic.

However, the rainfall from the past week was a major hindrance as we lost almost 5 days where we had to halt the blacktopping as well as the bitumen production. We are also facing a bitumen shortage with several of the production plants breaking down but we are actively finding alternative ways to ensure this doesn’t hamper our progress and that we meet the deadline.
