With the opening of the nine Drop-off Centres across Thimphu Thromde, it is essential that every individual is aware of how to properly segregate and manage waste.

Therefore, the City Environment Division of Thimphu Thromde held awareness programmes on waste management and the proper use of Drop-off Centres at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, Technical Training Institute Thimphu, Draktsho Vocational Training Centre for Special Children & Youth, and the Faculty of Traditional Medicine Hospital for more than 350 individuals on 3 June 2022.
