Thimphu Thromde officially launched two Extended Service Centres at Olakha (BNB Building, 2nd floor) and Jungzhina (Vegetable Market), along with its official WhatsApp service today.
Extended Service Centres: Residents and business owners can conveniently pay water bills, garbage and amenities fees, and commercial space rents at the two centres without visiting the main office.
Official WhatsApp Service: Residents can now submit applications through WhatsApp without visiting the office in person. This service will also benefit Bhutanese residing outside Thimphu, allowing them to access municipal services more conveniently from wherever they are.
We encourage everyone to make use of these services as we work towards making municipal services more accessible, efficient, and citizen-friendly.
These initiatives mark an important step towards fulfilling the Thrompon’s First 100-Day Pledge to improve public service delivery and bring municipal services closer to the people.
