Inauguration of Jungzhina-Pamtsho Water Supply System

24th September: The Jungzhina–Pamtsho Water Supply System was inaugurated by the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Constructed at a total cost of Nu. 123.45 million with the generous support of ADB and Royal Government of Bhutan, the project includes water treatment plant with a capacity of 1.4 million litres per day, a 23 km distribution network, 260 automated meters, and an advanced Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

This important development will benefit 1,378 households by ensuring safe and reliable drinking water.
